I'm trying to learn Italian, which is why I'm here. I can understand quite a bit of what I read, but I can't write or speak in Italian. I'm hoping someone will read this and answer a question for me. I keep seeing people writing "bananas." What exactly do they mean by that? Also, what does "W" mean? Thanks.

W=Viva means exactly HURRA' !
Do not get confused with the italian word "Via", if you come to italy you will see a bunch of "Via Berlusconi"(and some, very few, "Via Silvioleo")
THAT'S NOT the name of these streets! NO!!!
It means a sort of "GO AWAY" OK?
